Little Red Riding Hood Post-Apocalyptic Series: Red

A project I worked on last winter for my concept art class at OCAD U.
The prompt was to re-create a fairy tale into a new genre and setting; I chose Little Red Riding Hood for the fairy tale, post-apocalyptic as the genre and the North as the setting.
Red has been re-imagined as a former seamstress-turned mutant zombie wolf slayer. Her design reflects her fashion sense as well as her culture as a Muslim-Canadian woman forced to survive during a nuclear winter.
